Our Story
Born from a love of the wake
The Miami Wake Club was founded by Brandon Carter and Sky Berninghaus with one simple mission: create a community where anyone can experience the thrill of watersports without the massive cost barriers that usually come with it.
Wakesurfing and wakeboarding are some of the most incredible sports in the world — but also some of the highest barriers to entry. Traditionally, you need a boat, a driver, constant fuel, and countless hours on the water just to get the reps required to improve.
So we flipped the script. Wake Club lets members split the cost of boat time while riding together in a supportive group environment. Instead of expensive private charters, riders join sessions throughout the week, get consistent reps, and improve alongside other passionate riders.
But Wake Club is about more than just riding. It's about building a like-minded community, making friends on the water, and living the ultimate Miami lifestyle.
